Biographies
I am Geralyn Hopson, Red Carpet Events Owner and principal event designer. My company was borne through the planning of my wedding, even though I had employed a planner.
Midway through the process I realized I was putting to use my years of experience planning celebratory events for myself, my family and my friends as well as my experience planning meetings and seminars for a Fortune 100 corporation. I am also a wedding facilitator at Lilydale Progressive Baptist Church and I hold memberships in the Association of Bridal Consultants (ABC), the Association for Wedding Professionals International (AWPI) and the International Special Events Society (ISES).
Jenae Denne joined Red Carpet Events after we met at a social event. We started talking about Red Carpet Events and were immediately drawn to one another’s style. According to Jenae, my attention to detail and expectation of superior customer service matched what she provided clients she served while facilitator for weddings and celebratory events at the Four Seasons Hotel in Chicago.
